At Focalpoint Digital Ltd we have been copying, scanning and reproducing artwork for over 15 years. There are several choices when reproducing artwork, see below a brief video demonstration of our fine art reproduction process and a list of the usual choices.
You have an artwork and you want to make limited edition prints
This is the request we normally get, we take your artwork, scan it (turn the artwork into a digital file), colour match the file to the original artwork and then print it.
You have a digital file and you want to make limited edition prints
You send us the file (and preferably the original artwork to colour match to), we then print the file onto your choice of paper at the chosen size.
You have an artwork and you want to have digital files for your website/online marketing
We take your artwork, scan it (turn the artwork into a digital file), colour match the file to the original artwork and then supply the files to you via ftp, we can also send a downsized file for web/email use as well
You have an artwork and you want to make Litho or digital prints
Litho or digital printing are printing methods that keeps the cost down, digital printing is usually cost effective for 100+ prints and Litho suitable for 1000+ prints, the quality is not as good as limited edition Giclee fine art reproductions.
We take your artwork, scan it (turn the artwork into a digital file), colour match the file to the original artwork and then supply the file with a printers proof the printer can match too.
Alternatively we can organise the print for you.
A closed looped in-house process calibrated to industry standards to keep the highest quality.
High quality high resolution scans (your print is only ever as good as your scan).
Exceptional quality museum grade, acid free reproduction prints.

N.B. The size of the scan you need is the size that you need it to be printed (or larger), we can produce a small print from a larger file but not a larger print from a smaller file.
